Evangelism
Believing that personal evangelism is the method God will use to take the world for Christ, the focus of GMI is to equip the body of Christ to share their faith. For over two decades, Bill and Tammy have been personally involved in sharing their faith and training others to make witnessing a way of life. Additionally, GMI has taught Share Your Faith Workshops locally and in Kenya as one avenue of equipping the Body of Christ to share the Good News.
GMI has organized and directed evangelistic crusades within the continental United States and internationally. Serving as Crusade Directors for Go Tell Ministries for six years, Bill and Tammy have directed more than 15 area-wide crusades across the United States. Additionally, GMI has coordinated state-side crusades as well as open-air crusades in Africa for evangelist Jay Lowder.
GMI coordinates international mission trips to give other believers the opportunity to . . . Go Into All the World Sharing God’s Love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Discipleship
GMI assists local churches execute their biblical mandate to equip the saints by providing evangelism and outreach training, as well as seminars to train altar counselors.
Go Ministries regularly hosts training conferences to provide sound biblical teaching to indigenous pastors in developing countries. Over the course of our international mission’s involvement, we have discovered that an inordinate number of pastors are functioning in their churches with little or no theological training. As a result, traditional beliefs and practices are often erroneously presented as biblical doctrine to their congregations. Sadly, a majority of pastors in developing nations will never have the opportunity to attend seminary or receive formal Biblical education. Pastors and church leaders are hungry to receive training that will equip them to fulfill their ministries and serve their congregations, but lack the resources to attend seminary or Bible College. In fact, some do not even have a copy of God's Word, yet they are expected to lead and disciple their flocks.
Presently, we are teaching the 30 Life Principles of Dr. Charles Stanley, along with a workshop on how to share your faith, developed by Evangelism Explosion, in developing nations. In addition to pastors, we have been given the opportunity to train Kenyan Police Officers on several occasions. This is an excellent opportunity to replace some of the all too common corruption, which runs rampant among government officials in Kenya, with the Truth of God’s Word.
Many pastors are in desperate need of encouragement, and equipping to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Go Ministries is committed to doing all that we can do to meet this need. Pastors and church leaders are hungry for Biblical training that will equip them to fulfill their ministries and serve their congregations. God is continually opening doors for us to have a small part in impacting His Kingdom through the teaching and equipping of pastors worldwide!
Ministries of Compassion
James 1:27 says, "Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world." James 2:15-16 goes on to say, "If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?" Jesus himself said, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." What greater motivation for ministering to the physical needs of humanity than knowing it's as if we were doing it to Jesus!
GMI is involved in compassionate ministry in several ways:
GMI is involved in compassionate ministry in several ways:
- Mission Trips - we regularly partner with Kelly Green Global to provide: free Medical, Dental and Eye Clinics in villages and towns in Africa, ministering in orphanages, HIV/AIDS & evangelism in schools, small construction/renovation projects, visiting women and children in their homes/huts and generally sharing the love of Jesus with those we meet. We recently had the opportunity to teach in three schools in Githurai Kimbo. Teachers from our team taught English, Science and Bible lessons, while a team of young people conducted "field day" activities. Those interested in participating can complete a Mission Trip Interest form by clicking the link below and we will get back to you as soon as possible to to let you know what options are available.
- Sponsor African Women - Many women in Africa have been widowed or abandoned by their husbands with no sustainable means of support for her and her children. Go Ministries has partnered with PEFA Kimbo All Nations Gospel Church to help women break out of poverty by giving them the tools they need to start locally-based businesses. Your contribution helps to provide these women with the supplies, equipment, and/or the inventory they need to begin their business venture. Empowered as business owners, they have the opportunity to build their enterprises through their own hard work, they are able to meet their daily needs and raise capable, confident children who will break the cycle of generational poverty.
- Education Fund - Education transforms lives, especially for the poor and most vulnerable. According to UNICEF, only two thirds of secondary school-aged children around the world are enrolled in school; and in the least developed countries that drops to one third. Children living in developing countries are unable to attend school for many reasons, but poverty is perhaps the most prevalent obstacle preventing them from receiving an education. Go Ministries has partnered with PEFA Kimbo All Nations Gospel Church in Githurai Kimbo to sponsor children in need of educational assistance. Your donation is an investment in the education of a child that has the power to change the direction of his or her life. Ultimately, education has the potential to break the cycle of poverty by equipping children with the knowledge and skills to succeed in the jobs of their future.
- Safe Water Project - Clean, accessible water is vital to life, health, poverty reduction, a healthy environment, as well as a sustainable economy. Yet, worldwide, more than two billion people do not have access to this basic resource. Developing countries, like Kenya, are most affected by water shortages, flooding and poor water quality. Drought in Kenya over the past several years has led to a water crisis in the Nairobi region affecting rural area and urban slums. Go Ministries is working to get free, safe drinking water to developing areas in Africa by drilling wells and installing safe water tanks. Meeting the physical need is the first step to meeting the spiritual need and opens the door to share the Gospel. You can be part of the solution to the water crisis in Kenya.
- Soup Kitchen Ministry - is currently a service provided to the senior residents of the Calhoun Housing Authority through the cooperation of different churches in the Gordon County area. Each Saturday churches provide, prepare and deliver lunch to the Hillhouse and Golden Circle residents of the Calhoun Housing Authority. GMI schedules and coordinates the efforts of the churches involved. We welcome and encourage any church that would like to become involved in this ministry to please notify us of your interest and availability to begin.
