Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, care for the suffering.

Our ministry of compassion to those in need is guided by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25 . . .

“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.”  Matthew 25:35-36

Critical Relief Fund

“In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.” Psalm 18:6
For as long as anyone can remember, Africans have been suffering from some of the worst adversities imaginable. Hunger, poverty, violence, drought, disasters and most recently the Covid-19 pandemic are some of the problems affecting their lives daily.

As many of you know Go Ministries has been working with Pastor James Wesonga from PEFA Kimbo All Nations Gospel Church in Githurai Kimbo for many years.  Githurai Kimbo is a large slum area on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya that has an unconfirmed population of over 100,000. Most live from day to day, operating small kiosks by their homes selling vegetables, clothing or household goods.  Others work in day labor jobs earning what they can to support their families. The fallout from the pandemic and persistent drought in East Africa continue to bring despair and hopelessness to the poor and susceptible in this area. Many have turned to the church seeking hope for tomorrow, realizing the help they need comes from the Lord.

Working with Pastor James, Go Ministries is able to offer you the opportunity to directly help those who are suffering in Githurai Kimbo.  As needs are identified in the village, Pastor James will assess and prioritize those needs and make recommendations to GMI for relief funding. We will use your gift to help where it is needed most to bring about the greatest impact.
Your gift of any amount allows GMI to distribute funds where they are needed most offering life sustaining support in response to critical needs.

Our Commitment

Your gift is a sacred trust and we promise to honor your generosity! All contributions designated for specific projects shall be applied directly to those projects.  We do not assess administrative fees to the contribution.  However, any fees or charges we incur that are directly related to the project are deducted.  We commit to manage your gift with integrity, and we will use it to meet the represented needs in the most effective way possible. Should the project you are supporting become sufficiently funded, your donation may be directed to other projects that are most closely aligned with the original intent of the donation.
